Our Mission The Garrison Mill Educational Foundation is dedicated to support the mission and vision of our school.  We will accumulate and distribute resources beyond those provided by Cobb County or the PTA, in order to further enhance, foster and enrich the educational experiences of all students at Garrison Mill. Why do we need a Foundation? The Garrison Mill Educational Foundation was established in 2007 as a non-profit organization that raises money for the purpose of improving our school by providing funding for programs such as technology, curriculum and facility improvements. The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt charitable organization and is incorporated as an educational non-profit foundation.  This enables the Foundation to receive employer matching grants and apply for educational grant monies. How does GME Foundation raise money/items for the school? Contributions to the Sponsorship Program in the form of tax-deductible individual donations, employee-matching grants, charitable organization grants and corporate donations. Thanks to the funds raised this past year we will be installing a new computer lab! Instead of our kids attending computer lab one time every 2 weeks, we are anticipating attendance weekly! We are proud that in conjunction with the PTA and donations of interactive white boards from Promethean World every homeroom class is now equipped with a 'Promethean Board' - 38 total!!! see what our own GM Teachers & Students have to say......
